My Story

Thank you for visiting McGee Muse! My name is Megan, and I have struggled to express my deepest desires and my deepest hurts with words alone, so I decided to put them on canvas.

I make art that represents a woman’s power as well as her beauty. Her passion as well as her heartbreak. All that is good, bad, and ugly about womanhood, I wish to put it on canvas to make people feel seen in their experience. My mission is to help you find your voice and tell your story through fine art that lasts a lifetime. Today, I am excited to share the first iteration of my floral portraits, a concept I have been developing over the last couple of years. Each flower holds its own symbolism, its own story, its own power. My artistic journey is driven by a fascination with secret languages. I am inspired by the Victorian language of flowers and use it, as well as other juicy symbolism, to explore my experiences, my desires, and fears. I hope to help others express theirs as well.
